Trico Equipment Inc. Hosts Loader Backhoe Rodeo

Operator Byrne wins local contest, $500 and a trip for two to the Case North American Rodeo Championship Event in Las Vegas in 2008

Dayton, NJ – Trico Equipment Inc. sponsored a Case Rodeo Series event on June 1-2, 2007, where fifty equipment operators competed for the title of New Jersey’s Best Loader Backhoe Operator.

Dennis Byrne of Kendall Park, NJ won the competition, earning $500 cash and travel for two to Las Vegas in March 2008 for the Case North American Rodeo Series Loader Backhoe Championship. There Byrne will compete with more than 50 equipment operators from across the United States and Canada for the championship and a new, fully-loaded Case M Series 2 Loader Backhoe valued at $120,000.

Event Collects Funds for Habitat for Humanity

As part of the event, Trico equipment donated $1,000 to the Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity. Case dealers from across North America are hosting Case Rodeo Series events in 2007, which are expected to raise more than $50,000 for local Habitat for Humanity affiliates.

Byrne competed for South Brunswick Township Utilities. Second through fifth prizes, which ranged from $300 to $100, went to Dan Knoll of Scheidler Excavating in Hightstown, NJ; Joe Zanghi of Dom Zanghi and Sons in Buena, NJ; Paul DiDonato of Scheidler Excavating in Hightstown, NJ and George Evans of Apex Paving & Excavating in Newfield, NJ, respectively.
